Much has changed since 2007 and after surviving the recession through 2011 we have come to appreciate our clients more than ever. The Swimming Pool industry as a whole also evolved into a leaner more productive machine, removing unnecessary product lines and improving the ones that always represented its backbone.

For Cool Pools that meant the return back to Vinyl Liner Swimming Pools would become its primary product line once again. To try and summarize the pros and cons between Vinyl Liner and Fiberglass in-ground swimming pools on one page is nearly impossible but this much is certain:

1- You will either love or hate the shape of a fiberglass pool and if you can’t find a compromise in shape then you are probably better off to consider a vinyl liner pool.

2- During the recession many companies attempted to bring the cost of fiberglass pools down to or near equal the cost of a vinyl liner swimming pools and those days are gone.
